Each flashcard and practice question is mapped to its real exam weight so you study the highest-impact material first.
Isolate variables, clear fractions, distribute, and solve two-step equations. Highest exam weight.
Arithmetic, geometric, alternating, and growing-difference sequences. Write differences on scratch paper every time.
LCD addition, cross-multiply, percent of a number. Know common equivalents cold: 1/4=0.25, 3/4=0.75, 1/8=0.125.
Multiplication before addition — every time. Left-to-right for equal-priority operators. The exam's most frequent trap.
Slope = rise over run = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1). Write y=mx+b, plug in a point to solve for b.
Cross-multiply. Same units, same position. Inverse proportion: more workers = fewer days.
Multiply same base: ADD exponents. Divide: SUBTRACT. Power of power: MULTIPLY. Know perfect squares to 225.
Find two numbers that MULTIPLY to c AND ADD to b. Difference of squares: a^2-b^2=(a+b)(a-b).
